Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial

Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial was officially opened by Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Malaysia's Prime Minister on 11 November 1994. This purpose of this establishment was for the memoriam as well as to commemorate the charity service and contribution of Almarhum Tunku as the "Father of Independence" (Bapa Kemerdekaan) and also the first Malaysia's Prime Minister from year 1957 till 1970.
This memorial displays the legacies left by Tunku including documents, photographs, souvenirs, news excerpt, clothes and furniture regarding him. There is also an audiovisual presentation about Tunku.
