KL Tower

Standing at 421 metres, this formidable landmark is the 4th tallest tower in the world. Officially opened in 1996 by Malaysia’s fourth prime minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammad. It is located atop Bukit Nenas.
At its foundation, the structure is surrounded by the Bukit Nenas Tropical Rainforest Reserve. A true rainforest, that even maintains its own mini eco-system, situated right in the heart of the city makes it the only one of its kind in the world.
Aside from being a telecommunications tower, the Kuala Lumpur Tower also houses a variety of souvenir shops and restaurants at its base, and an observation deck and revolving restaurant on the upper decks
